The Fisch Bowl "Shift Happens"

The Fisch Bowl movie was very informative. The stats that were given are very staggering. The things that were stated in the movie I never would have imagined. It was estimated that 3.1 million people in China were college graduates in 2006.

Also Great Britian has the largest army, and also the highest standard of living. When this came across the screen in the movie, while I was reading the bullet statements I was thinking in my head that it was America. So the movie really proved me wrong.

Also every 8 seconds 34 babies will be born and it had me thinking about how many people die as new life is bought into the world. This aspect is really intriguing to me. I could not believe that new life is always coming in every 8 seconds of the day.

The movie also lets you know that this world has changed so much during the last 10 years. Nobody could have ever predicted that technology would evolve into this major part of peoples everyday lives. It seems today that people can't even survive without their cell phones. Roughly 15-20 years ago people probably would have laughed at the idea of a cell phone.

The improvements in the world that technology has brought about is something that is deeply rooted in just about every household around the world. No matter how small the technical device is. When I watched the movie it really opened my eyes up to all the new and exciting things that have happened and will continue to happen in our world today.
